About this Role
A reputable company in Accra is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee receiving, storage, inventory control and dispatch. The ideal candidate is organised, safety-conscious and able to keep stock records accurate at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organise and delegate daily warehouse activities
- Oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch
- Monitor stock levels and keep inventory records accurate
- Apply FIFO and FEFO principles consistently
- Carry out stock counts and report variances
- Record all stock movements accurately in the ERP
- Coordinate with Sales, Procurement and Transport teams
- Maintain 5S, housekeeping and health and safety standards
Requirements
- First Degree in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant warehouse experience
- Good understanding of warehousing, stock control and inventory management
- Strong planning, organisational and time management skills
- Good people management and supervisory skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability, and results-oriented
- Knowledge of FMCG, distribution, manufacturing or retail operations is an advantage
- Good communication skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
