About this Role
A reputable hospitality establishment in Accra is looking for friendly and presentable Waiters and Waitresses to join its service team. The ideal candidate is polite, attentive and able to give every guest an excellent dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and show them to their tables
- Present menus and explain dishes and drinks
- Take orders accurately and pass them to the kitchen and bar
- Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally
- Check on guests and attend to their needs throughout the meal
- Present bills and handle payments correctly
- Clear, clean and reset tables after use
- Assist with other duties assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
- Previous experience as a waiter or waitress is an advantage
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Good command of spoken English
- Must be neat, presentable and well-mannered
- Must be honest, respectful and punctual
- Ability to work in a busy environment
- Ability to carry trays and stand for long periods
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
