About this Role
A reputable hospitality establishment in Accra is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead its housekeeping team. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for detail and ensures rooms and public areas are always clean and guest-ready.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and schedule housekeeping staff
- Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure high cleaning standards
- Assign daily duties and monitor their completion
- Train new housekeeping staff on procedures and standards
- Monitor linen, cleaning supplies and guest amenities
- Handle guest requests and complaints promptly
- Report maintenance issues to the relevant department
- Keep housekeeping records and reports up to date
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of hotel housekeeping experience, including some supervisory experience
- A qualification in Hospitality Management or a related field is an advantage
- Good knowledge of cleaning methods, chemicals and equipment
- Ability to lead, train and motivate a team
- Strong attention to detail and high hygiene standards
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
