About this Role
A reputable organisation in Accra is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to produce visual content for both digital and print. The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio, works comfortably to deadlines, and can take a brief from first concept through to finished artwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Design social media graphics, flyers, banners and other marketing materials
- Develop concepts and visual ideas from written or verbal briefs
- Prepare artwork for both digital publication and print production
- Maintain a consistent brand look across all materials produced
- Edit and retouch photographs where required
- Revise designs based on feedback from management and clients
- Manage and organise design files, assets and templates
- Meet deadlines on several design jobs running at the same time
Requirements
- Working knowledge of industry-standard design platforms such as Adobe Photoshop and Canva is essential
- A portfolio of previous design work must be available for review
- Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator or similar vector software is an advantage
- Good understanding of layout, typography and colour
- Ability to take direction and work through revisions professionally
- Good communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage time and meet deadlines in a busy environment
- Previous experience in a design, marketing or printing environment is an advantage
