About this Role
A reputable hospitality establishment in Accra is looking for a skilled and engaging Bartender to run its bar. The ideal candidate knows their drinks, serves responsibly, and creates a lively and welcoming atmosphere for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve drinks, cocktails and mocktails to standard
- Take drink orders from guests and waiting staff
- Recommend drinks and engage guests in a friendly manner
- Keep the bar clean, stocked and well organised
- Monitor bar stock and report low levels
- Handle payments and record bar sales accurately
- Serve alcohol responsibly and check age where required
- Assist with opening and closing duties
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a bartender
- Good knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits and beers
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a busy bar
- Basic cash handling and stock control skills
- Must be honest, neat and presentable
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays
